Air Caravel is built on a simple idea: bringing the Iberian Peninsula closer to the world with direct flights, final prices from the first click and service that makes sense straight away. Lisbon will be its first base in 2028, with Madrid and Porto joining in 2029.
The company’s plan foresees growth to 68 routes and 60 aircraft by 2036, serving 50 destinations across Europe, North America, Brazil, Latin America, Africa and Asia, always non-stop from one of its three bases.
“We want crossing the Atlantic to be something people look forward to again,” the company says. “So we are starting with the basics: the price you see is the price you pay, a cabin bag is always included and our loyalty programme rewards every flight.”
The aircaravel.com website is already available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew, Japanese and Traditional Chinese, and visitors can sign up to be the first to hear when sales open.
About Air Caravel
Air Caravel is a new Iberian airline that plans to start flying in 2028 from Lisbon, and from 2029 also from Madrid and Porto, with direct flights to Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. It will operate an all-Airbus, new-generation fleet, shows final prices from the first click and includes a cabin bag in every fare. Its loyalty programme, COMPASS, rewards the number of flights, not just spending.
Network and fleet figures reflect the company’s plan and may change.
